What was the inspiration behind this design?
The design visualizes the idea of a rhythmic cadence when traversing different terrains and speeds. The varying scale of the stripes across the jersey not only symbolizes the steady beat of pedaling, it also represents the view while riding - the changing perspective that unfolds in the vastness of the landscape. The pattern emphasizes the forward motion, the elegant dynamics of cycling, and reminds you to keep the rhythm.
What does cycling mean to you?
Cycling means as much to me as good music. Both are indispensable.
Your best cycling experience?
When, after many years on my beloved folding bike, I started riding my first vintage road bike, a new chapter of cycling opened up. The typical road bike position gave me an unexpected sense of lightness and speed, a feeling of pure joy.
