Anomaly is a statement. It’s a tribute to Annie Kopchovsky, better known as Londonderry, who became the first woman to cycle around the world in 1894/95 – and was called an “anomaly” for it. Women in cycling are still fighting for recognition, visibility, and equality – this jersey tells their story.

    • Unisex sizing, tight cut (we recommend sizing up one size)
    • Made from 100% recycled base material (recycled PET)
    • Three back pockets, one with a hidden zipper pocket
    • 40mm gripper tape at the jersey hem for perfect hold

What does this jersey mean to you?
Visibility. For women in cycling and their achievements. A voice for greater equality.

What’s the inspiration behind your design?

Badass women who have achieved great things yet remained – or still remain – invisible. It’s an injustice how deeply ingrained inequality is in society, and how many obstacles women have to overcome.

What did you enjoy most in this design process – and what wasn’t so easy?

Easy: The conceptual part: what do I want to convey, to whom, and what do I want to highlight and how. Absolutely not easy: Colors!

What does cycling mean to you?

A break from the stress of everyday life, clearing my head, spending quality time with friends or on my own. Usually sour Katjes gummy candies.

A specific cycling experience you want to share?

Ruidang Industry Road in Taiwan. Eating peanut noodles by the lake after a full day of cycling, but also every little spontaneous coffee ride with my girlfriend to unwind.

    FAQs
