What was your inspiration for this design?

The vibrant colors of the tropics. The cheerfulness of the people. The sunset and the sea. The good mood and the cheerful attitude to life. The happy coincidences. The experiences and people we haven't met yet. The mystery of the universe. None of that.

What does cycling mean to you?

Cycling is a way of life. You have to make decisions while the wind blows in your face. You have to choose your own path. You can only learn to ride by riding. You have to be persistent. If you stop pedaling, you'll fall over. You have to be brave. Just keep riding and enjoy the view. The destination isn't important. Freedom takes your breath away. You must do nothing but keep riding. Never stop.

Your best cycling experience?

I was living in London when I asked a friend, "Should we go to Barcelona?" He immediately liked the idea and said he'd take care of the plane tickets. I told him we should cycle. He asked me if I was crazy. I replied, "Yes," with a mischievous grin on my face. It took us 30 days to cross France and Spain before we arrived in Barcelona. We slept in tents surrounded by fields. We met amazing people and visited fantastic places. This cycling trip was a life-changing experience. So many things went wrong, but that's precisely why it was such an incredible experience. Never plan anything, just do it!
