    The Paths jersey combines cycling and design, staying true to Trikoterie’s motto. On the one hand, cycling is about paths waiting to be discovered—and whether or not to follow them; on the other hand, paths are an integral part of the vector-based design process.

    What does this jersey mean to you?
    A journey. 

     

    What’s the inspiration behind your design?

    Originally, we wanted to design a safety jersey with lots of reflective elements, neon colors, and little to no text. Then we realized that the reflective details weren’t feasible. The idea with the paths came about by chance, and we decided to follow that path without knowing exactly where it would lead.

     

    What did you enjoy most in this design process – and what wasn’t so easy?

    As always, the process reminded us that accidents and exploring unexpected paths are what makes designing great. The bigger challenge was making the transition from the idea/concept phase to the final production file in a short amount of time.

    What does cycling mean to you?

    Once a hate. Now closer to great.
     

    A specific cycling experience you want to share?

    While designing this jersey, close to finishing it - Jonas decided to do a trip around the Neusiedlersee. He crashed and slammed his hand, but we pushed through and finished it anyway.

    FAQs

    • Die verwendeten Basismaterialien werden in Italien hergestellt, Druck und Nähen der Trikots erfolgt bei einem Familienunternehmen, das ebenfalls in Italien angesiedelt ist.

      Unsere Trikots bestehen zum Großteil aus recycelten Basis-Materialien, die aus Plastikmüll hergestellt werden (rPET), und entsprechen zumindest dem Oeko Tex 100 Standard.

    • Da wir unsere Trikots in Italien produzieren, sind sie generell eher klein geschnitten. Wir empfehlen daher: wenn du zwischen zwei Größen bist, nimm lieber die Größere.
